Today on this fine Monday morning, I thought I'd go back to basics and share with you a rather typical me look, and simply just chat about my thought process for selecting the look and why I like it. For some weeks now I've covered a number of topics that have no relevance to the imagery I share here on PagesByMegan, because personally that's what I like about other blogs that I love to read so much.
However, sometimes it's nice to go back to the beginning and simply just talk you through an outfit, what do you reckon?
So this look is head to toe & Other Stories, a store I've loved for quite some time and a store that has very recently opened in Manchester... RESULT! The Manchester store is, in my opinion a much more pleasant shopping experience and the staff are much friendlier (I've never had a good experience in the Regent Street branch) making the whole process that much more enjoyable indeed.
The look is comprised of some v on trend pieces for this AW16 but with a huge sixties touch which is very important with the majority of my sartorial choices.
The rose bomber that I've featured in this video is a current favourite of mine due to it's luxe sheen and it's relaxed, laid back shape, it's a great piece to throw on over a number of looks no matter what the occasion. And as for the boots, you guys already know that I'm a complete sucker for ankle boots and these metallic babies are certainly no exception. They come up a little higher on the leg so create a different look to most of my other ankle boots and as for the fact they're so totally space age-y, well, that is love right there.
Tying the whole look together with my beloved rose Ray Ban Round Metal sunglasses, because this weekend I went to see Supersonic and my love for those Gallagher brothers has sky rocketed to say the least. Make sure you click the song below and click through to the playlist of greatest hits for banger after freaking banger... AND of course go and watch the film too, you won't regret it!
