Happy Freaking Friday you wonderful bunch, I hope you’ve all had a splendid week and you have some rather fun plans for the weekend ahead.
I thought I’d end the working week with some rather exciting news indeed. As you may have seen over on my Instagram last week I am very proud to announce that I am the face of the all new Daisy London collection… HOW FREAKING EXCITING IS THAT!?
Daisy London is a brand I’ve loved for some time now, being known for their seriously delicate jewellery pieces, their chakra’s, initials and of course their daisy ladened pieces. However, this collection is taking an ever-so-slightly different approach with Native Spirit.
Native Spirit is a collection inspired by the Native American zodiac. An ancient form of astrology which contains the belief that a person is assigned a creature from the animal kingdom from birth which provides defining characeteristics, something I find highly interesting indeed.
I’m a firm believe in our traditional, most known zodiac and have been from a young age. This is due to the fact that my Nanna Hazel was extremely passionate about it, being able to guess which category you fell under simply by spending a few moments with you, something I used to find incredibly fascinating.
Learning about the Native American Zodiac through Daisy and the Native Spirit collection has only worked to amplify this interest of mine and it’s been oh so fun learning from such an awesome project and collection.
Each piece from the all new Daisy Native Spirit collection nod’s beautifully to creatures great and small in a range of necklaces for each zodiac sign.
Whether it’s sterling silver or gold that tickles your fancy, there is a piece for everyone which is somewhat personal to you, and you all know how I feel about personalisation right now.
According to my Native American Zodiac and having the birthday of 4th July, I have been assigned the Woodpecker which means:
Understanding and responsible, the Woodpecker has a caring nature. Meticulously organised and resourceful, they are a support to those around them. The ever-nurturing qualities of the Woodpecker makes them wonderful parents and friends.
I will most definitely take that!
Personal faves from the collection are The Wolf Ears Necklace for those born between Feb 19th-March 20th, a piece I completely fell in love with on the shoot and a piece you can see me wearing in the image above. I also really love The Goose Egg necklace for the zodiac of those whose birthdays fall between Dec 22nd-Jan 19th, it’s wonderfully chunky yet with that oh-so-delicate Daisy London touch, it’s simply beautiful.
However, the zodiac pendants aren’t all from the Native Spirit collection, the collection also includes awesome claw earrings, bangles and stacking rings all in mixed metals which means there is a piece for everyone.
I am SO very excited to be able to finally share these shots with you and to explain a little more about the awesome Daisy London collection. I’m really, truly proud to be a part of such a wonderful collection with such a beautiful inspiration and story behind it and I hope you like both the images of me and the collection just as much as I do.
You can shop the entire collection here which officially launched today WOOO! I’d love to hear which Native American Zodiac you fall under and whether you agree with it’s characteristics.
Lots of Love and thanks, as always for all your support
